The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has taken the world by storm and things have finally started to settle down as well as touring now resuming thanks to a much needed vaccination for the virus. Though, when the pandemic strikes Coldrain. They are bound to strike back, and that's exactly what they plan to do with the announcement of their new single "Paradise (Kill the Silence)".
On 6th August, the band posted a cryptic message exclusive on their Twitter account that was written in Japanese, though when translated into English. It reads: "Will be announced 24 hours later." They kept to their word and 24 hours later at 10:00 BST, the Nagoya quintet uneviled something that they had in the works that they are slating for release on 17th September.
Alongside the announcement of the new single, the Japanese heavyweights promoted a one man crusade across the land of the rising sun, a tour simply titled "Paradise." They plan to first play in their hometown of Nagoya, Japan on 1st October and make 10 other stops in venues nationwide before wrapping up at the famous Usen Studio Coast in Tokyo that was also the recording location for their live album Evolve. Sadly, it appears that it'll be the band's last ever appearance at the venue as the Usen Studio Coast in Shinkiba, Tokyo is closing down on 30th January 2022. This gives the band more reason to go out with a bang and get people jumping up and down, singing along and crashing around in the mosh pit in a typially high energetic performance by the band to signify the end of the era for the venue, but a new era from Coldrain as they have their sights firmly set on their highly anticpated, yet to be announced seventh studio album.
